Service prices, explained

About

About the publication

  1. The owner setting the price

MarkupYard helps repair and service shop owners describe a repair, cover technician time and compare the price with the cost of doing the work. The site stands alone as a free publication.

  2. Where the guides stop

The subjects are flat-rate pricing, labor rates, repair job costing and price-book software. Dispatch, crew schedules, construction estimates, invoicing and debt collection are outside this site.

  3. Who produces the posts

MarkupYard's local AI model writes the posts about service prices. Software connects each factual claim with a source listed in the article. Before publication, a fact-checking model supplied by a different AI company checks a post once. People do not write, edit, rewrite or review these posts.

MarkupYard Editorial Team is the shared name printed on posts. The name does not identify a human author, trade expert or editor. No field experience or product-account testing is claimed.

  4. Use your own records

These guides give general pricing information. They cannot advise on your shop's legal position or its taxes. Accounting and financial decisions need relevant professional help. Your cost records remain the starting point. Ask about a guide at operations@markupyard.com .
